Making The Most of Summer

If you were a part of our coaching this month or live near Whangarei, Auckland or Taranaki and missed out then you are in the right place for a rundown.

The Maungaturoto track has seen some work since we were last carving its clay, work done by both a skilled and MX experienced operator. But before we could work on riding skills with our host of the night before, young Jeremy McCallum, there was tools to get out first. One repaired carburetor later, promptly followed by a session hammering his standing skills, and our protege was looking awesome down the rough straights and through the sawdust.

Can I Ride?

Our friends the Hall family were back, only this time with Braden their younger son who joined one very quick Logan Denize. We had heard good things about both of these kids and the only person there who looked disappointed was Anthony Hall who was no doubt itching to join in on the action.

Rounding up the day was Stu and Finn Delamere with a tricky situation. We have probably all been at that place where the desire to ride is in a full scale battle with fear. It is no fun, well at least until you overcome it. Then life couldn’t be better and it just gets easier from there. The only problem being that my bikes were being used elsewhere so I couldn’t join on the fun after we were all done.
